I build the systems.
I teach.
20+ years across IT and instructional design — Automation and database systems on one side, eLearning courses and in-person programs on the other. Loupetron is where those two practices meet.
Where systems engineering meets learning science.
I started in IT infrastructure at Fanshawe College in 2000 — networking, servers, databases. Teaching part-time for sixteen of those years surfaced a second thread: designing experiences that make complex ideas stick.
At 1Password, the two converged. I've shipped 50+ courses, run a monthly webinar series for 200+ people, and led a leadership program for 110+ managers — while automating the workflow behind all of it with Python, Google Apps Script, and AI. That's my way of doing things: the strategist who writes the proposal in the morning and ships the automation by afternoon.
Needs analysis, curriculum architecture, and leadership programs built for measurable outcomes — not just content delivery.
Systems automation, AI/LLM workflows, and database design. I don't just plan the system — I build it.
The rare ability to hold the organizational vision while engineering the systems that execute it.
Two disciplines, one practice.
Most people specialize in one side. I built a career at the intersection.
Creating impact and developing skills
Want the complete history? Ask — I'll send the résumé.
70+ Articulate courses, a 200-attendee monthly webinar series, leadership program, and full Docebo/Absorb administration — plus Notion, Python, Apps Script, and AI automations that ran it all.
Ran facility operations and IT infrastructure, training instructors on new classroom and maker technology, while engaging the youth in 3D Printing, laser cutting, CNC machining, electronics, and code.
Seventeen years administering campus network & servers, teaching technology part-time day & night.
Ongoing IT consulting, database development, and branded web work for industrial, education, and non-profit clients.
Let's build something worth teaching.
